On the first weekend of September the first Lindisfarne festival launched at Beal overlooking the historic and stunning Holy Island.
We were on board from the early stages of planning and attended council licensing meetings as well as leasing with the event organisers on what bar capacity would be required for the 2000 revelers over two full days an nights of camping and live music.
The event was ran across 4 main marquees, each housing its own stage and sound system as well as bespoke bar. Each bar offered a full range of draught lager, beer and cider as well as cans, wine, spirits and mixers and soft drinks.
We also secured the Kingfisher trailer bar which offered a quick and perfectly served pint of Kingfisher lager, (Conveniently placed next to a fantastic curry vendor!)
We provided all bars, staffing and stock with a two day install and 1 day derig making it a full 5 days on site.
All bars operated efficiently and no queues or warm pints were reported!
Concerns over bar weather were alieved when the sun shone and most of the weekend was dry which combined with great food and drinks and some of the best live music to be played in the region made for a fantastic inaugural event resulting in the festival being shortlisted for best new and small festival 2015.
Plans are already underway for the bigger event in 2016 with new 5000 capacity limit and Bar4hire are already secured as the bar provider.
